CSKA Rovaniemi's supporters rose to their feet, but Ahto Viander was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Räsänen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Petteri Roihuvuori came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the CSKA Rovaniemi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Petteri Roihuvuori couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the CSKA Rovaniemi defense, Tenho Heinikangas kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ale Tukio. The CSKA Rovaniemi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ale Tukio should have stopped the shot. Ahto Viander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ilari Latvala received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Matias Räsänen came out and tried to block the shot, but Ilari Latvala slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 24th minute. Köpings's Matias Räsänen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Köpings from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Köpings's Matias Räsänen got control of the ball when Teppo Reijonen tried to sneak it across the goal line. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ahto Viander to strike the kick off in the second half. Matias Räsänen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahto Viander, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 58 minutes into the match, Ahto Viander notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Köpings's Matias Räsänen. Ilari Latvala might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matias Räsänen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ilari Latvala ran back to his position shaking his head. Matias Räsänen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teppo Reijonen in the 71st minute of the match. After 73 played minutes CSKA Rovaniemi got a freekick which was hit by Péter Paška. Tenho Heinikangas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ale Tukio came out and tried to block the shot, but Tenho Heinikangas slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 75th minute. Péter Paška kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Matias Räsänen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilari Latvala, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Ahto Viander scored 3-3 in the 94th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Matias Räsänen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. CSKA Rovaniemi were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
