In the 44th minute of the match, Elias Vikström tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Pertti Jussilainen saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 46th match minute, FC Suntti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannu Hakaniemi to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Anssi Liimatainen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 80thth minute of the game Aarne Villanen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Suntti's Pertti Jussilainen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 82 minutes into the match, FC Ribale's goalkeeper Juha-Pekka Multaharju had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anssi Liimatainen. Pertti Jussilainen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aarne Villanen's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. FC Ribale's Aarne Villanen got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aarne Villanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pertti Jussilainen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aarne Villanen's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Ribale fully deserved thier win.
