With a left leg Sauli Mäkelä saved Käyrälä from getting behind. Sauli Mäkelä didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 7th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. In the 10th minute, Olympia 79's Samuel Koivuniemi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Joonas Kinnunen in the 12thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sauli Mäkelä, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 15 minutes into the match, Olympia 79's goal looked a bit too open when Arsi Valtonen came free, but Arto Jussila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ukko Paavola kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute of the match Saul Hanninen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arto Jussila skillfully saved the ball. When the match clock showed 20 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Joonas Kinnunen sped through Käyrälä's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sauli Mäkelä. After 25 minutes of play, Olympia 79's Joonas Kinnunen made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sauli Mäkelä was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Joonas Kinnunen could shoot a difficult shot in the 31st minute, which Sauli Mäkelä however easily saved by the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Samuel Koivuniemi kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Sauli Mäkelä. That made the score 5-0 in the 36 minute of play. 42 minutes into the game, Samuel Koivuniemi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sauli Mäkelä. Samuel Koivuniemi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 6-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 6-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Taneli Sauso to strike the kick off in the second half. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sauli Mäkelä showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
