Spectators: 7845 (Terracing: 5885, Seating: 1804, VIP seats: 156) Olympia 79's Joonas Kinnunen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Olympia 79's Joonas Kinnunen was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 7th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. FC Suntti were furious when Hannu Hakaniemi was red carded, 11 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 11th minute, one of FC Suntti:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for FC Suntti. A collision led to FC Suntti getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Ville Kiviharju hit a great ball. Joonas Kinnunen received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Pertti Jussilainen came out and tried to block the shot, but Joonas Kinnunen slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. The audience was convinced that Samuel Koivuniemi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pertti Jussilainen was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. Pertti Jussilainen came out and tried to block the shot, but Samuel Koivuniemi slotted it home off the left post making it 6-0 in the 35th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joonas Kinnunen in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pertti Jussilainen saved FC Suntti from getting behind. In the 40th minute, Ville Kiviharju hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Samuel Koivuniemi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pertti Jussilainen having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Marko Meltoranta made the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes, Joni Uusipaavalniemi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Suntti and the Olympia 79 players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to FC Suntti getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. When the referee ended the match the Olympia 79 players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
