Veli Kivi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Eemeli Torkki made a huge save. A hard shot by Ilpo Kankaanpää from long distance, 9 minutes into the match, got Eemeli Torkki's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. If Anttoni Rimpilä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Westbay FF's Roope Lätti in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ojalanperä IFK's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ojalanperä IFK's zone, Roope Lätti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eemeli Torkki came out of the goal and Roope Lätti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eemeli Torkki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roope Lätti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rainer Palonen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hannes Pulkkinen in the 28th minute of the match. When Ojalanperä IFK's Hannes Pulkkinen in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Westbay FF's goalie prevented a goal. Roope Lätti's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eemeli Torkki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Westbay FF's Veli Kivi got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

In the 54th minute, Roope Lätti left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Westbay FF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Timo Haataja hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When Veli Kivi came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Westbay FF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Veli Kivi couldn't finish the play. 68 minutes into the match, Anttoni Rimpilä notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Westbay FF's Rainer Palonen. Rainer Palonen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 71st minute, Miika Pitkänen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Westbay FF's zone, Anttoni Rimpilä stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rainer Palonen came out of the goal and Anttoni Rimpilä tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hannes Pulkkinen struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Rainer Palonen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ojalanperä IFK. Eemeli Torkki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roope Lätti, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Westbay FF's Roope Lätti got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Veli Kivi struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Eemeli Torkki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Westbay FF. The Ojalanperä IFK players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Westbay FF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
