With a little luck, Tuorila's Hannu Paappanen got control of the ball when Ilmo Virtala tried to sneak it across the goal line. When TimperilAaa's Ilmo Virtala in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tuorila's goalie prevented a goal. Rauli Welling took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Päiviö Hana. Päiviö Hana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 31 minutes into the match, TimperilAaa's goal looked a bit too open when Teemu Vihtilä came free, but Päiviö Hana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Päiviö Hana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harri Immonen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 35 minutes into the match, TimperilAaa's goal looked a bit too open when Rauli Welling came free, but Päiviö Hana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in TimperilAaa's zone, Rauli Welling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Päiviö Hana came out of the goal and Rauli Welling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 38th match minute, TimperilAaa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taisto Elo to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Touko Pikkarainen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Keimo Petsamo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hannu Paappanen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Touko Pikkarainen in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Rauli Welling ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Päiviö Hana was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Päiviö Hana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teemu Vihtilä, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 59 minutes into the match, Tuorila's goal looked a bit too open when Taisto Elo came free, but Hannu Paappanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Miko Suoraniemi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Touko Pikkarainen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. TimperilAaa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Touko Pikkarainen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Päiviö Hana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harri Immonen in the 67th minute. 71 minutes into the match, Rauli Welling dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Päiviö Hana, 3-3. Miko Suoraniemi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Hannu Paappanen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Päiviö Hana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rauli Welling in the 77th minute. Ilmo Virtala struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Hannu Paappanen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TimperilAaa. 89 minutes into the match, Tuorila's goal looked a bit too open when Touko Pikkarainen came free, but Hannu Paappanen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ilmo Virtala fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hannu Paappanen having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. TimperilAaa had played much better football throughout.
