In the 8th minute, Jukka Siponen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jouko Salomaa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Kari Harinen made a fantastic save in the 15th minute, when Aleksis Hautamäki sent off a good shot on target. Jukka Siponen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jouko Salomaa having to interfere. Julius Pirnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 26 played minutes, FC KEBAB's Jori Elo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Kari Harinen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC KEBAB reached it. FC KEBAB's Jouko Salomaa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaakko Lamminen in the 34th minute of play. Jouko Salomaa came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Paksal FC's Jaakko Lamminen. But to his dismay, Jaakko Lamminen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Jukka Siponen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julius Pirnes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kari Harinen having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jukka Siponen to make the kick off. If Jukka Siponen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC KEBAB's goalkeeper Jouko Salomaa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Joel Kinisjärvi hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. When Jukka Siponen came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Paksal FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jukka Siponen couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jukka Siponen in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jouko Salomaa saved FC KEBAB from getting behind. Jukka Siponen charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jukka Siponen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Paksal FC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Jukka Siponen hit a great ball. Kari Harinen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julius Pirnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorma Laitinen during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC KEBAB were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Paksal FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Toivo Jämsä took the corner. Jaakko Lamminen kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. FC KEBAB's Toivo Jämsä got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chants of Paksal FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as FC KEBAB had held the ball for most of the match.
