Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Atso Welling took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 6 minutes, Jesse Perälä mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Riffe United and the Kynarios FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Kynarios FC's zone, Atso Welling stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esa Kokkila came out of the goal and Atso Welling tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atso Welling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kynarios FC's goalkeeper Esa Kokkila, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Kynarios FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kimmo Välimäki came free, but Esa Kokkila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute, Niklas Vikström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atso Welling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Atso Welling got free with Esa Kokkila in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kimmo Välimäki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esa Kokkila having to interfere. Riffe United's Kimmo Välimäki managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joona Keskinarkaus in the 26 minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Atso Welling kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Esa Kokkila. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. Kimmo Välimäki received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Esa Kokkila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With his leg Esa Kokkila managed to avoid a goal in the 42ndth minute, when Riffe United's Taavetti Pihlanen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Atso Welling sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daavid Hiukka showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reijo Kautonen in the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Reijo Kautonen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Daavid Hiukka. The goal made the score 1-1. Riffe United's Atso Welling got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Esa Kokkila stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Atso Welling's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. Esa Kokkila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atso Welling in the 71st minute of the match. When Riffe United's Atso Welling in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kynarios FC's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Riffe United getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Kimmo Välimäki hit a great ball. Kimmo Välimäki fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esa Kokkila having to interfere. Esa Kokkila showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atso Welling in the 81st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kynarios FC's zone, Jesse Perälä stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esa Kokkila came out of the goal and Jesse Perälä tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atso Welling's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esa Kokkila read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Riffe United's Daavid Hiukka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reijo Kautonen in the 95th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Riffe United players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
