FC Kaskas 06's Konsta Rimpiläinen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tuure Ruhanen in the 7th minute of play. In the 12th minute, Touko Levokari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Konsta Rimpiläinen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuure Ruhanen, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Touko Levokari came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the FC Kaskas 06 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Touko Levokari couldn't finish the play. In the 25th minute Jouni Kalliokoski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reima Kokkila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Taati FC's Paul Hartikainen got a good chance for a goal in the 26th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Paul Hartikainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 31 minutes, Paul Hartikainen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taati FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paul Hartikainen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Atro Grahn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reima Kokkila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Touko Levokari, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Touko Levokari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Touko Levokari fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reima Kokkila having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tuure Ruhanen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Taati FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jouni Kalliokoski fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Atro Grahn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Paul Hartikainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Konsta Rimpiläinen having to interfere. Taati FC's Reima Kokkila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save Taati FC from getting a goal against them. Paul Hartikainen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Konsta Rimpiläinen having to make a save. Atro Grahn's late challenge caught a Taati FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Atro Grahn helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Kaskas 06 getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Atro Grahn hit a great ball. Konsta Rimpiläinen came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Taati FC's Paul Hartikainen. But to his dismay, Paul Hartikainen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Paul Hartikainen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Taati FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
