To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 4 played minutes Ralböle got a freekick which was hit by Nikolai Kalto. Untamo Masalin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Keijo Kärkkäinen in the 7th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Pietari Sillgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JJ SumU Akatemia and the Ralböle players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, JJ SumU Akatemia's Pietari Sillgren got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 14 minutes, Otto Kopola made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Ralböle's Hannes Ihanamäki tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the game, Otto Kopola lined in a short shot 2-0 behind a frustrated Hannes Ihanamäki. Ralböle's Hannes Ihanamäki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otto Kopola in the 22nd minute of play. Jesse Koivula's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 25thth minute, Hannes Ihanamäki skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Keijo Kärkkäinen in the 37th minute of play forced JJ SumU Akatemia's goalkeeper Untamo Masalin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Keijo Kärkkäinen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Untamo Masalin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Otto Kopola stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Pauli Eloranta fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ralböle's protests and gave Pauli Eloranta a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 51st minute of the game. One of Ralböle:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of JJ SumU Akatemia:s goal. The referee gave JJ SumU Akatemia a penalty, 53 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by George Hagi, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ralböle's Hannes Ihanamäki. 3-1. If George Hagi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hannes Ihanamäki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otto Kopola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute Iivari Masalin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Untamo Masalin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Pasoja charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Allan Pasoja the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, Allan Pasoja hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Ralböle's goal looked a bit too open when Jesse Koivula came free, but Hannes Ihanamäki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Untamo Masalin made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Keijo Kärkkäinen sent off a good shot on target. Ralböle's Hannes Ihanamäki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manu Hana in the 100th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. JJ SumU Akatemia fully deserved thier win.
