If Kalevi Perälä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eemil Peteri's late challenge caught a Sosiaalinen pelko's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eemil Peteri helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Sosiaalinen pelko booed when Ralböle was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eemil Peteri didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Keijo Kärkkäinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ralböle's Hannes Ihanamäki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kalevi Perälä in the 24th minute of play. Sosiaalinen pelko's Jori Jämsänen shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 29th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hannes Ihanamäki but with some difficulty. In the 33rd minute of the match Pauli Eloranta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jonni Kahra skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Ralböle booed when Sosiaalinen pelko was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hannu Marttinen didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Ralböle's Olli-Pekka Niemivirta got a free kick in the 37th minute. In the 41st match minute, Ralböle was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ohto Oravainen to maneuver through the defense. Ismo Kousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 47th minute, Iivari Masalin made a precise shot to the right of Jonni Kahra. Sosiaalinen pelko's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After the first half Ralböle were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Kalevi Perälä made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Ralböle's goal looked a bit too open when Kalevi Perälä came free, but Hannes Ihanamäki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keijo Kärkkäinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kerkko Kauppinen hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Keijo Kärkkäinen couldn't finish the play. Keijo Kärkkäinens short, quick shot in the 73rdth minute got Jonni Kahra to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Sosiaalinen pelko's Kerkko Kauppinen got a free kick in the 79th minute. Pauli Eloranta took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jonni Kahra. Sosiaalinen pelko's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 91st minute, Ismo Kousa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 92 minutes into the match, Ismo Kousa notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ralböle's Hannes Ihanamäki. Hannes Ihanamäki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
