Vihtori Kallioniemi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Iivari Masalin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 13 minutes into the match, Gers FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iivari Masalin came free, but Vihtori Kallioniemi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th minute, Allan Pajula hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 16 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gers FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pauli Eloranta was slow to take the kick. During this time Ralböle's players had a chance to rest. Pauli Eloranta made a great header on Ralböle's corner, it was just that Gers FC's Vihtori Kallioniemi managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gers FC's goalkeeper Vihtori Kallioniemi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The wind increased when Jaakkima Seppä made the kick off in the second half. After 54 played minutes Gers FC got a freekick which was hit by Aukusti Salermo. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iivari Masalin in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vihtori Kallioniemi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Keijo Kärkkäinen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Vihtori Kallioniemi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Iivari Masalin had several of the Gers FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 62 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-1 score and a disappointed Vihtori Kallioniemi as he didn't even see the shot coming. Hannes Ihanamäki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaakkima Seppä in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Ralböle booed when Gers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aukusti Salermo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 73 minutes into the match, Iivari Masalin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Vihtori Kallioniemi. Gers FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iivari Masalin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iivari Masalin in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. Iivari Masalin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vihtori Kallioniemi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Keijo Kärkkäinen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gers FC's Vihtori Kallioniemi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Gers FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 91 minutes, Jaakkima Seppä managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gers FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaakkima Seppä was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle sounded Ralböle left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Gers FC.
