In the 22nd match minute, Fc Puolipupeltajat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Taisto Lahti to maneuver through the defense. Arquímedes Sócrates made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reima Heinikallio in the 27th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Ismo Rahkola took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Arquímedes Sócrates to make any attempt to save it. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reima Heinikallio to make the kick off. Tomi Vento charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomi Vento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes Los Vikingos dicen Adios got a freekick which was hit by Anti Fart. In the 66th match minute, Los Vikingos dicen Adios was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lasse Ruohiainen to maneuver through the defense. If Ismo Rahkola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Reima Heinikallio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arquímedes Sócrates was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. Reima Heinikallio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Arquímedes Sócrates tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Taisto Lahti's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arquímedes Sócrates was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. In the 95th minute Reima Heinikallio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arquímedes Sócrates saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Fc Puolipupeltajat were the better team. Fc Puolipupeltajat's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
