If Yrjänä Esala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benjamin Sihvonen struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. Arsi Puro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paiusalmi IFK. 13 minutes into the match, Mauri.Antero.Juniors's goalkeeper Arsi Puro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benjamin Sihvonen. If Yrjänä Esala had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yrjänä Esala received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Arsi Puro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 28 minutes, Yrjänä Esala managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paiusalmi IFK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yrjänä Esala was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Benjamin Sihvonen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mauri.Antero.Juniors's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Yrjänä Esala 35 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Paiusalmi IFK's Yrjänä Esala got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Yrjänä Esala made the kick off in the second half. Arsi Puro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aleksanteri Jatkola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leevi Koskinen hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Benjamin Sihvonen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Arsi Puro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Paiusalmi IFK's Benjamin Sihvonen in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pietari Toivanen in the 59th minute of play forced Paiusalmi IFK's goalkeeper Jimmie Damm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 61 minutes, Aleksanteri Jatkola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paiusalmi IFK and the Mauri.Antero.Juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jimmie Damm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauri Hulkkonen, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Benjamin Sihvonen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Mauri.Antero.Juniors defense, Yrjänä Esala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arsi Puro. The Mauri.Antero.Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arsi Puro should have stopped the shot. In the 75th match minute, Mauri.Antero.Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauri Hulkkonen to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Benjamin Sihvonen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paiusalmi IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Benjamin Sihvonen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arsi Puro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82ndth minute of the game Benjamin Sihvonen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mauri.Antero.Juniors's Arsi Puro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Yrjänä Esala had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arsi Puro. Mauri.Antero.Juniors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Yrjänä Esala was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. The supporters of Paiusalmi IFK booed when Mauri.Antero.Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aarno Kangasalusta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Paiusalmi IFK were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Mauri.Antero.Juniors's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Yrjänä Esala took the corner. The corner ended in Vilppu Grönholm almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mauri.Antero.Juniors's Arsi Puro did a great save. After 94 minutes of play, Paiusalmi IFK's Yrjänä Esala made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arsi Puro was left in no man's land by his defense there!
