Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marko Viljanen kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Veikko Hautaoja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Härjänvatsa IFK's supporters rose to their feet, but Veikko Hautaoja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petri Helenius breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Petri Helenius didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Veikko Hautaoja went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Tero Äijälä took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petri Helenius. Petri Helenius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The supporters of Lähdekylä booed when Härjänvatsa IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eero Kärki didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jarno Latvala charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jarno Latvala the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jarno Latvala hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Tero Äijälä fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petri Helenius having to interfere. The Härjänvatsa IFK fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Härjänvatsa IFK's Tero Äijälä looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the match had gone on for 30 minutes, Tero Äijälä put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Petri Helenius. The supporters of Härjänvatsa IFK booed when Lähdekylä was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joonas Norrena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petri Helenius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tero Äijälä, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Lähdekylä's zone, Tero Äijälä stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Petri Helenius came out of the goal and Tero Äijälä tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 41 played minutes Lähdekylä got a freekick which was hit by Marko Viljanen. Tero Äijälä blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petri Helenius having to make a save. Joonas Norrena kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tero Äijälä stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Veikko Hautaoja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Petri Helenius tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tero Äijälä in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petri Helenius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Petri Helenius was out of position in the 58 minute of play, and Veikko Hautaoja capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Veikko Hautaoja really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. Petri Helenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tero Äijälä in the 61st minute of the match. Tero Äijäläs short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Petri Helenius to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Tero Äijälä sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 69 minutes, Tero Äijälä made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Lähdekylä's Petri Helenius tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Petri Helenius didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Härjänvatsa IFK's Tero Äijälä shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-7 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 81st minute, Härjänvatsa IFK's Veikko Hautaoja ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Petri Helenius. Petri Helenius yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Petri Helenius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tero Äijälä in the 84th minute of the match. When Veikko Hautaoja came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Härjänvatsa IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Veikko Hautaoja couldn't finish the play. In the 88th minute, Antero Nikko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 89th minute of the match Jouni Petsamo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eemil Viisala showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
