Spectators: 6946 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1946, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mika Heinikallio kicked off to start the match. If Marko Viljanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 5th minute, Topi Liimatainen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, Lähdekylä's Jouni Petsamo tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Jouni Petsamo took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 10th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Janne Tuuri. Tavola's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 11th minute, Marko Viljanen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Väinö Strömberg hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Jouni Petsamo, 15 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Tavola's Janne Tuuri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marko Viljanen in the 17th minute of play. Eeli Sulonen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Tavola's Alvi Lotvonen seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alvi Lotvonen the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Tavola protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alvi Lotvonen had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 22nd minute, one of Tavola:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Tavola. If Marko Viljanen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hannes Palolahti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Janne Tuuri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hannes Palolahti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janne Tuuri having to interfere. 36 minutes into the game, Asmo Koivisto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tavola's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lähdekylä the free kick. The audience was convinced that Marko Viljanen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Janne Tuuri was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Marko Viljanen hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute, Hannes Palolahti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Janne Tuuri was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 52nd match minute, Tavola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seppo Loikala to maneuver through the defense. Janne Tuuri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joonas Norrena in the 54th minute of the match. Janne Tuuri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marko Viljanen in the 59th minute of play. Janne Tuuri made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Hannes Palolahti sent off a good shot on target. Marko Viljanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Janne Tuuri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Marko Viljanen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Janne Tuuri. That made the score 0-3 in the 66 minute of play. After 77 minutes, Väinö Strömberg mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tavola and the Lähdekylä players grew even worse after the yellow card. Janne Tuuri was a little too slow when Marko Viljanen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 80th minute. The score was now 0-4. After a rather tough play, Tavola's Jarkko Järvenpää got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 89 played minutes Tavola got a freekick which was hit by Sami Pihkala. Hannes Palolahti could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Janne Tuuri made a huge save. Hannes Palolahti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janne Tuuri having to interfere. Lähdekylä's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
