Petri Helenius was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Milosz Frenzel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 8 minute of play. Igor Manex showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hannes Palolahti, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Marko Viljanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Igor Manex tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Igor Manex showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marko Viljanen, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Milosz Frenzel struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Petri Helenius didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kalsarit. Timo Luhtio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 27 minutes into the match, Ambrosio Marz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Petri Helenius, 3-0. Petri Helenius was a little too slow when Milosz Frenzel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 4-0. Petri Helenius made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Milosz Frenzel sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Milosz Frenzel in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petri Helenius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Lähdekylä getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Mikael Pentsinen hit a great ball. Milosz Frenzel took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Petri Helenius. Petri Helenius dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Milosz Frenzel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Petri Helenius came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Kalsarit's Timo Luhtio. But to his dismay, Timo Luhtio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Timo Luhtio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petri Helenius having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timo Luhtio in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petri Helenius prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72nd minute, Elmo Lahtela made a precise shot to the right of Petri Helenius. Lähdekylä's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 9-0. After a defensive mix-up in Kalsarit's zone, Hannes Palolahti stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Igor Manex came out of the goal and Hannes Palolahti tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Iisakki Saksinen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mikael Pentsinen's late challenge caught a Kalsarit's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mikael Pentsinen helped the player get up and apologised. Mikael Pentsinen kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lähdekylä's goalkeeper Petri Helenius, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some careless play in the Lähdekylä defense, Tero Siltavirta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petri Helenius. The Lähdekylä fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petri Helenius should have stopped the shot. Mauri Bärlund took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Petri Helenius. Lähdekylä's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Igor Manex made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Hannes Palolahti sent off a good shot on target. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Kalsarit had played much better football throughout.
