Seating: 1956, VIP seats: 158) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anssi Furuholm took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Markku Ahmaoja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 12 minutes, Erkki Puranen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Strandbyn's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erkki Puranen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 16thth minute of the game Arsi Kaitainen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Andreas's Kepa Blanco was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Erkki Puranen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 19th minute, FC Andreas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Markku Ahmaoja fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Erkki Puranen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 22 minutes of play, FC Andreas's Anssi Furuholm made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ylermi Kanto was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joona Lähtelä during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to FC Andreas getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Joona Lähtelä hit a great ball. In the 32nd minute, Markku Ahmaoja sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Andreas's Kepa Blanco didn't even have to move. 34 minutes into the match, Strandbyn's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Sakáč came free, but Ylermi Kanto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Markku Ahmaoja could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Kepa Blanco made a huge save. In the 37th minute Anssi Furuholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ylermi Kanto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Andreas's Joaquim Planchon got a free kick in the 40th minute. With a little luck, FC Andreas's Kepa Blanco got control of the ball when Markku Ahmaoja tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Arsi Kaitainen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kepa Blanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arsi Kaitainen in the 44th minute of the match. Kepa Blanco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erkki Puranen, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Markku Ahmaoja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
Kepa Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Markku Ahmaoja in the 52nd minute of play. Ylermi Kanto had great luck who in the 57thth minute grab hold of the ball when Anssi Furuholm from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Andreas's goalkeeper Kepa Blanco, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Arsi Kaitainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kepa Blanco having to interfere. Anssi Furuholm charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anssi Furuholm the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Strandbyn booed when FC Andreas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anssi Furuholm didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kepa Blanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsi Kaitainen in the 68th minute of play. Erkki Puranen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kepa Blanco having to interfere. A collision led to FC Andreas getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Huub Stegeman hit a great ball. Kepa Blanco came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Strandbyn's Arsi Kaitainen. But to his dismay, Arsi Kaitainen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 81st match minute, FC Andreas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hemminki Pylkäs to maneuver through the defense. When Erkki Puranen came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Strandbyn fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erkki Puranen couldn't finish the play. Heikki Kaipainen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kepa Blanco having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Strandbyn's Ari Viander got a free kick in the 93rd minute. Ossi Kuokkanen struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Ylermi Kanto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Andreas.
