With 74 minutes on the clock, Kaapro Hauhtonen commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 73 minutes into the game, one of FC Amöba:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Strandbyn were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after FC Amöba's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Markku Ahmaoja took the corner. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Markku Ahmaoja managed to get in a good position for a shot. Strandbyn's supporters rose to their feet, but Markku Ahmaoja was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Taavi Varis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
