Spectators: 8515 (Terracing: 6387, Seating: 1958, VIP seats: 170) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Paavali Ronkainen started the match with the kick off. Albert Siltanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Grigore Apetroaiei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Halisten Haukat getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Timo Berg hit a great ball. Timo Berg hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Rauno Naskali took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albert Siltanen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grigore Apetroaiei kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes, FC Reserve's Ossi Ruohonen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rainer Manninen came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Reserve reached it. In the 23rd minute Grigore Apetroaiei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rainer Manninen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 31 minutes, Grigore Apetroaiei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Reserve's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigore Apetroaiei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Halisten Haukat's goal looked a bit too open when Grigore Apetroaiei came free, but Rainer Manninen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Grigore Apetroaiei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Rasmus Jaakkola managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Reserve's supporters rose to their feet, but Rasmus Jaakkola was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rainer Manninen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ilari Saastamoinen shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 46th minute, Vesa Kinnunen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rainer Manninen. The goal made the score 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Grigore Apetroaiei made the kick off in the second half. Rainer Manninen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grigore Apetroaiei, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Halisten Haukat's Rainer Manninen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Konstantin Koivu in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Grigore Apetroaiei in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rainer Manninen saved Halisten Haukat from getting behind. In the 63rd minute, Halisten Haukat's Paavali Ronkainen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rauno Naskali. Rauno Naskali yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. In the 66th minute, Samuel Huttunen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paavali Ronkainen's late challenge caught a FC Reserve's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paavali Ronkainen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Halisten Haukat's Paavali Ronkainen got a free kick in the 68th minute. Rainer Manninen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigore Apetroaiei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. FC Reserve's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Grigore Apetroaiei in the 73rd minute. After taking down the ball on FC Reserve's corner Grigore Apetroaiei fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rainer Manninen quite easily take care of the ball. Rainer Manninen came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by FC Reserve's Grigore Apetroaiei. But to his dismay, Grigore Apetroaiei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 88 minutes into the match, Grigore Apetroaiei notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Halisten Haukat's Rainer Manninen. Rainer Manninen was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of FC Reserve booed when Halisten Haukat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juha-Pekka Peuhkuri didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 95 played minutes FC Reserve got a freekick which was hit by Konstantin Koivu. When the referee ended the match the FC Reserve players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
