The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Cássio Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tapio Sjögren in the 3rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Janne Töpperwien's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jori Kokko was relentless in the 5th minute of the game. Janne Töpperwien was extremely unlucky when he, in the 6th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Janne Töpperwien in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jori Kokko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. East Kontula's Jori Kokko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Heinikangas in the 11th minute of play. Janne Töpperwien took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jori Kokko. Jori Kokko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Janne Töpperwien in the 17th minute of play forced East Kontula's goalkeeper Jori Kokko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Janne Töpperwien could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Jori Kokko made a huge save. Jori Kokko was a little too slow when Daniel Heinikangas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 3-0. In the 26th minute, Esko Uusipaavalniemi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 27 minutes of play, Karhulan Veikot's Janne Töpperwien made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jori Kokko was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute, Janne Töpperwien made a precise shot to the right of Jori Kokko. East Kontula's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. 33 minutes into the match, Daniel Heinikangas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Jori Kokko, 6-0. Janne Töpperwien fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jori Kokko having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Edvard Kaarniemi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Janne Töpperwien got free with Jori Kokko in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Janne Töpperwien took a quick shot and it went in 7-0 without a chance for Jori Kokko to make any attempt to save it. Af the end of the first half the score was 7-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tapio Sjögren to make the kick off. Daniel Heinikangas might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jori Kokko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Heinikangas ran back to his position shaking his head. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Janne Töpperwien in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jori Kokko saved East Kontula from getting behind. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Janne Töpperwien put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Jori Kokko. In the 67th minute, Esko Uusipaavalniemi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jori Kokko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Janne Töpperwien, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Janne Töpperwien scored 10-0 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jori Kokko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Janne Töpperwien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Jori Kokko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karhulan Veikot's Janne Töpperwien got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 81st minute Janne Töpperwien shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jori Kokko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jori Kokko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from István Vida, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 minutes East Kontula's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was István Vida who took care of the corner kick. 96 minutes into the match, Janne Töpperwien had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jori Kokko. East Kontula's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Janne Töpperwien was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0.
