After a rather tough play, East Kontula's Edvard Kaarniemi got a free kick in the 5th minute. Jori Kokko came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Suonenvaara's Verneri Innanen. But to his dismay, Verneri Innanen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Jori Kokko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Verneri Innanen went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. If Tapio Sjögren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute of the match, Verneri Innanen tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Jori Kokko saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 19th minute, Suonenvaara's Verneri Innanen ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jori Kokko. Jori Kokko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Verneri Innanen succeeded in the game's 22nd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 4-0. Kai Tuovinen kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. East Kontula's Tapio Sjögren got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jori Kokko was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Kari Snellman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-0 in the 35 minute of play. Jori Kokko made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Kari Snellman sent off a good shot on target. If Kari Snellman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kari Snellman to make the kick off. Kari Snellman succeeded in the game's 51st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 7-0. Tapio Sjögren could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Cristinel Firoiu made a huge save. With his leg Cristinel Firoiu managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when East Kontula's Tapio Sjögren fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The audience was convinced that Kari Snellman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jori Kokko was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. 61 minutes into the match, East Kontula's goal looked a bit too open when Verneri Innanen came free, but Jori Kokko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Verneri Innanen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jori Kokko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Verneri Innanen in the 66th minute of play forced East Kontula's goalkeeper Jori Kokko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kai Tuovinen hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, East Kontula's Esko Uusipaavalniemi got a free kick in the 67th minute. When the match clock showed 71 minutes, the score became 8-0 when Verneri Innanen sped through East Kontula's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jori Kokko. 74 minutes into the match, Suonenvaara's goal looked a bit too open when Tapio Sjögren came free, but Cristinel Firoiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Suonenvaara's Cristinel Firoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tapio Sjögren in the 76th minute of play. Jori Kokko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kari Snellman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Verneri Innanen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Jori Kokko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kauno Kirjonen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jori Kokko came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Suonenvaara's Verneri Innanen. But to his dismay, Verneri Innanen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Suonenvaara had played much better football throughout.
