Seating: 2025, VIP seats: 184) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Nuutti Siponen got the match started through his kick off. With an all-out effort, Solvik's Sampsa Lätti threw himself towards the right post 6 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olli-Pekka Brinck, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 12th minute, Mikko Lahtela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 14 minutes into the match, Solvik's goal looked a bit too open when Ahto Pentsinen came free, but Gustavo Argenis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Topias Vahalahti hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ossi Nurmi in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sampsa Lätti saved Academy from getting behind. Through an outstanding action, after 21 minutes, Sampsa Lätti successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 22nd match minute, Academy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Riku Jämsen to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute Solvik were awarded a corner. Iisakki Nyrhinen went to the cornerflag to take it. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Solvik's goalkeeper Gustavo Argenis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Academy booed when Solvik was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarmo Kalto didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ossi Nurmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sampsa Lätti showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ossi Nurmi, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Sampo Luoma could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Sampsa Lätti made a huge save. If Sampo Luoma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Solvik's Ossi Nurmi in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academy's goalie prevented a goal. Sampsa Lätti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ossi Nurmi in the 43rd minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
The wind increased when Ossi Nurmi made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the game, Solvik's Sampo Luoma nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sampsa Lätti made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Solvik's Tarmo Kalto got a free kick in the 59th minute. When Ossi Nurmi came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Solvik fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ossi Nurmi couldn't finish the play. Sampsa Lätti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sampo Luoma in the 63rd minute of the match. If Sampo Luoma had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sampo Luoma in the 71st minute of play forced Academy's goalkeeper Sampsa Lätti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olli-Pekka Brinck might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sampsa Lätti. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olli-Pekka Brinck ran back to his position shaking his head. Sampsa Lätti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sampo Luoma in the 78th minute of play. Sampo Luoma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Solvik's Ossi Nurmi in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Academy's goalie prevented a goal. Gustavo Argenis was a little too slow when Ahto Pentsinen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 92nd minute. The score was now 1-1.
