When Karhulan Veikot's Sylvesteri Turpeinen in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gustavo Argenis prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Janne Töpperwien had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Janne Töpperwien blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gustavo Argenis having to make a save. Janne Töpperwien received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Gustavo Argenis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Solvik's goal looked a bit too open when Sylvesteri Turpeinen came free, but Gustavo Argenis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Solvik defense, Sylvesteri Turpeinen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gustavo Argenis. The Solvik fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gustavo Argenis should have stopped the shot. 46 minutes into the match, Karhulan Veikot's goalkeeper Cássio Ramos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ossi Nurmi. Ossi Nurmis short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Cássio Ramos to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ossi Nurmi was the one to do the kick off. Sampo Luoma recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 54 played minutes Solvik got a freekick which was hit by Uuno Masalin. In the 58th minute, Janne Töpperwien got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Solvik made a substitution. Tarmo Kalto replaced Uljas Jokilahti. When Karhulan Veikot's Janne Töpperwien in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a long run with the ball, Janne Töpperwien did a trick in the 81st minute in front of Solvik's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 1-4.
