With an all-out effort, Kattilainen FC's Alfred Caspersson threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Angelo Baur, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 23 minutes into the match, Kattilainen FC's goal looked a bit too open when Heikki Lumijärvi came free, but 彭霆升 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 彭霆升 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rauli Paavola in the 24th minute of the match. After the first half Heinolahti FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

One of Kattilainen FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Heinolahti FC:s goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rauli Paavola in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 彭霆升 saved Kattilainen FC from getting behind. Manne Nyyssönen struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Alfred Caspersson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kattilainen FC. Heinolahti FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
