Spectators: 9213 (Terracing: 6912, Seating: 2118, VIP seats: 183) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tapio Sjögren started the match with the kick off. Kalervo Rovio hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 5th minute Jerzy Werra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jori Kokko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. East Kontula's Jori Kokko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Usko Äijälä in the 6th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Visa Hakaniemi during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to East Kontula getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Visa Hakaniemi hit a great ball. Jori Kokko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aadolf Ylimäki, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Jori Kokko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerardo Jobo in the 10th minute of play. Jori Kokko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jerzy Werra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jerzy Werra in the 13th minute of play forced East Kontula's goalkeeper Jori Kokko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Into Viisala hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jori Kokko stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jerzy Werra's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. Joonas Rosendahl blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Heikki Räsänen having to make a save. In the 32nd minute Jerzy Werra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jori Kokko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Botvik FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aadolf Ylimäki in the 33rd minute. In the 34th match minute, East Kontula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Janne Kaukonen to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Aadolf Ylimäki managed to get in a good position for a shot. Botvik FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Aadolf Ylimäki was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jori Kokko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jori Kokko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aadolf Ylimäki in the 37th minute of the match. Usko Äijälä scored 0-1 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jori Kokko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the game, Botvik FC's Usko Äijälä nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jori Kokko made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerzy Werra to make the kick off. Jori Kokko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aadolf Ylimäki in the 55th minute. Usko Äijälä succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-4 in the 57th playminute. In the 60th minute, Botvik FC's Usko Äijälä ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jori Kokko. Jori Kokko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 63rd minute, Jerzy Werra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 65th match minute, Botvik FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lassi Kaikkonen to maneuver through the defense. Jori Kokko made an important save on a dangerous shot by Usko Äijälä in the 69th minute. Jori Kokko was a little too slow when Jerzy Werra got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-6. Jerzy Werra had several of the East Kontula's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 75 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-7 score and a disappointed Jori Kokko as he didn't even see the shot coming. Sylvesteri Virtanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jori Kokko having to interfere. If Usko Äijälä had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The East Kontula fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Botvik FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
