In the 8th match minute, East Kontula was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hannu Kampman to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in East Kontula's zone, Emilian Săvescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jori Kokko came out of the goal and Emilian Săvescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Henri Snellman in the 12th minute of play forced East Kontula's goalkeeper Jori Kokko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 played minutes Otavan Otsot got a freekick which was hit by Misbach Pattinasarani. After 15 played minutes, East Kontula's Kalervo Rovio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alvi Kokkila came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in East Kontula reached it. Otavan Otsot's Henri Snellman got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 20th minute, Otavan Otsot's Ensio Snellman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jori Kokko. Jori Kokko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Ensio Snellman struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Jori Kokko didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Otavan Otsot. Mustafa Arif Uçbeyi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of East Kontula booed when Otavan Otsot was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Misbach Pattinasarani didn't get a good kick on the ball. 3-0 became the score in the 33rd minute when Henri Snellman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 38th minute of the match Otavan Otsot got a corner. East Kontula's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emilian Săvescu ran over to the corner to take the kick. Emilian Săvescu made a great header on Otavan Otsot's corner, it was just that East Kontula's Jori Kokko managed to reach the ball for a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Henri Snellman to make the kick off. If Ensio Snellman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 9-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. There was no doubt that Otavan Otsot were the better team. Otavan Otsot's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
