In the 11th minute, Iso Gulli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Porvoon Futura's goal looked a bit too open when Kauno Kousa came free, but Francesco Toldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francesco Toldo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nilson Borges went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Iso Gulli blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kaarlo Viklund having to make a save. Kauno Kousa might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Francesco Toldo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kauno Kousa ran back to his position shaking his head. Francesco Toldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Avram Stănilă, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Henrik Höijer kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iso Gulli got free with Kaarlo Viklund in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Porvoon Futura's Iso Gulli got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Porvoon Futura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Höijer to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Ekaitz in the 48th minute of play forced Porvoon Futura's goalkeeper Francesco Toldo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The wind increased when Iso Gulli made the kick off in the second half. Cao Ming Yuan kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. Porvoon Futura's Francesco Toldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Porvoon Futura from getting a goal against them. A nice corner shot did that Tobias Ekaitz got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Francesco Toldo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Kaarlo Viklund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iso Gulli in the 55th minute of play. Porvoon Futura's Francesco Toldo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kauno Kousa in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute of the match Kol Miot sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kaarlo Viklund skillfully saved the ball. Kaarlo Viklund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iso Gulli, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 62nd minute Kauno Kousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Francesco Toldo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Oriol Franquesa fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Parainen IFK's protests and gave Oriol Franquesa a yellow card for diving instead. Oriol Franquesa hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Oriol Franquesa hit a great ball. The throw-in from Avram Stănilă in the 72nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Porvoon Futura's Paavo Hirvonen. When Iso Gulli came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Porvoon Futura fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iso Gulli couldn't finish the play. Porvoon Futura's Ruben Valkenaers was substituted for Iso Gulli. After 84 played minutes Parainen IFK got a freekick which was hit by Kaleva Etula. Henrik Höijer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kaarlo Viklund. Parainen IFK's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Francesco Toldo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nilson Borges in the 86th minute. Kaarlo Viklund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Valkenaers in the 90th minute of the match. After having played for 93 minutes, Paavo Hirvonen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Porvoon Futura's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paavo Hirvonen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Parainen IFK's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
