Kannonjärvi IFK's Pentti Paananen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edvard Helenius in the 13th minute of play. Untamo Jatkola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erno Myllyniemi in the 16th minute of the match. In the 18th minute, Edvard Helenius ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pentti Paananen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 21 minutes into the match, Juuso Kalliokoski dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Pentti Paananen, 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edvard Helenius in the 27th minute of play forced Kannonjärvi IFK's goalkeeper Pentti Paananen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Erno Myllyniemi kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Kannonjärvi IFK were awarded a corner. Klaus Saira went to the cornerflag to take it. Klaus Saira made a great header on Kannonjärvi IFK's corner, it was just that Tapiola IFK's Untamo Jatkola managed to reach the ball for a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Juuso Kalliokoski got free with Pentti Paananen in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edvard Helenius in the 37thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Pentti Paananen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the match clock showed 38 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Erno Myllyniemi sped through Tapiola IFK's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Untamo Jatkola. Cayo Suarez kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. When Juuso Kalliokoski came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Tapiola IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juuso Kalliokoski couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Kannonjärvi IFK's Pentti Paananen got control of the ball when Juuso Kalliokoski tried to sneak it across the goal line.

When Cayo Suarez was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 55 minutes had been played. The supporters of Tapiola IFK booed when Kannonjärvi IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cayo Suarez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Karri Myllylä made a precise shot to the right of Pentti Paananen. Kannonjärvi IFK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Tapiola IFK made a substitution. Feliks Dawiec replaced Jari Vainio. After some careless play in the Kannonjärvi IFK defense, Juuso Kalliokoski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pentti Paananen. The Kannonjärvi IFK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pentti Paananen should have stopped the shot. In the 71st minute, Karri Myllylä left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Tapiola IFK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. In the 75th minute Klaus Saira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Untamo Jatkola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anders Grøstad took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Pentti Paananen. Pentti Paananen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-1. Pentti Paananen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karri Myllylä, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th match minute, Kannonjärvi IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Karhunen to maneuver through the defense. Kannonjärvi IFK's Pentti Paananen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juuso Kalliokoski in the 87th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tapiola IFK had played much better football throughout.
