When Ossian Nitti fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kannonjärvi IFK's protests and gave Ossian Nitti a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th match minute, Kannonjärvi IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ossian Nitti to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute, Camillo Della Rocca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Jones fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Matias Karhunen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Kannonjärvi IFK's zone, Huang Guo Feng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urpo Halonen came out of the goal and Huang Guo Feng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Urpo Halonen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camillo Della Rocca in the 44th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Huang Guo Feng in the 46th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Urpo Halonen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pekko Blom hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Kannonjärvi IFK's zone, Huang Guo Feng stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Urpo Halonen came out of the goal and Huang Guo Feng tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half FC Jones were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Camillo Della Rocca stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tarmo Pasanen got free with Urpo Halonen in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kannonjärvi IFK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Camillo Della Rocca 58 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-8. 60 minutes into the game, Huang Guo Feng cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Urpo Halonen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Camillo Della Rocca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Urpo Halonen made a huge save. Urpo Halonen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Camillo Della Rocca in the 75th minute. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Camillo Della Rocca put it in 0-13 from a short distance just to the right of Urpo Halonen. Camillo Della Rocca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Urpo Halonen made a huge save. In the 82nd minute, Tatu Vainionpää hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over FC Jones could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Kannonjärvi IFK throughout the match.
