Spectators: 9220 (Terracing: 6916, Seating: 2121, VIP seats: 183) FC Paju's Jaakkima Lampinen started the match with a crisp pass. After some careless play in the FC Jaguar defense, Heikki Furuholm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Päiviö Pitkänen. The FC Jaguar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Päiviö Pitkänen should have stopped the shot. In the 17th minute, Heikki Furuholm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Päiviö Pitkänen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Leo Niemi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tero Karvonen in the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Jaguar's Dorotheos Valsaris got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Heikki Furuholm left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Päiviö Pitkänen was left in no man's land by his defense there! The FC Jaguar players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. FC Paju were winning 0-7.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tero Karvonen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Heikki Furuholm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Päiviö Pitkänen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-11. Päiviö Pitkänen was a little too slow when Tauno Pietiläinen got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. With an all-out effort, FC Paju's Päiviö Pitkänen threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Heikki Furuholm, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Paju's Jarkko Jämsen slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Päiviö Pitkänen. That made the score 0-13 after 87 minutes of play. Päiviö Pitkänen stood somewhat misplaced when Heikki Furuholm came free in front of goal and shot 0-14 to the left of him in the 91 minute. In the 94th minute Heikki Furuholm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Päiviö Pitkänen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
