In the 7th match minute, FC Jaguar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 武钢奕 to maneuver through the defense. FC Jaguar's Päiviö Pitkänen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Matias Karhunen in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Urpo Halonen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 16th minute of the match Urpo Halonen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Urpo Halonen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 22nd match minute, Kannonjärvi IFK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pekko Blom to maneuver through the defense. Herkko Pasanen was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Kustaa Saariaho. Päiviö Pitkänen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matias Karhunen, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. If Matias Karhunen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of FC Jaguar booed when Kannonjärvi IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tahvo Hevonkorpi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herkko Pasanen was a little too slow when Tony Hiedanpää got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 2-1. Herkko Pasanen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Hiedanpää, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

Kannonjärvi IFK made a substitution. Petri Repo replaced Matias Karhunen. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Petri Repo to strike the kick off in the second half. Petri Repo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Päiviö Pitkänen having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sándor Dénes in the 58th minute of play forced Kannonjärvi IFK's goalkeeper Herkko Pasanen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If 武钢奕 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ville Pietikäinen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herkko Pasanen having to interfere. Jarmo Lydman kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Kustaa Saariaho kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of Kannonjärvi IFK booed when FC Jaguar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Verneri Oravainen didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 79th minute of the match Verneri Oravainen completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Verneri Oravainen a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Verneri Oravainen kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Mika Poikolainen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tony Hiedanpää had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lasse Salminen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herkko Pasanen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 97th minute of play.
