Leo Niemi was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Henrik Höijer. A collision led to Porvoon Futura getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Cao Ming Yuan hit a great ball. After 83 played minutes, FC Paju's Aimo Vähäsavo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francesco Toldo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Paju reached it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ruben Valkenaers got free with Leo Niemi in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 86th minute of the match Porvoon Futura got a corner. FC Paju's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Henrik Höijer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Porvoon Futura's Henrik Höijer to fire away a dangerous shot which Leo Niemi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Ruben Valkenaers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Leo Niemi made a huge save. In the 90th minute, Cao Ming Yuan made a precise shot to the right of Leo Niemi. FC Paju's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Tauno Pietiläinen hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ruben Valkenaers in the 99th minute of play forced FC Paju's goalkeeper Leo Niemi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
