The audience thought a goal was coming when Camillo Della Rocca got free with Elbert Hand in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Elbert Hand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sivert Hägert, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Kultapossukerho's Elbert Hand proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Kultapossukerho from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Camillo Della Rocca got free with Elbert Hand in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Huang Guo Feng kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Elbert Hand. That made the score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Mauno Hartikainen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Jones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mauno Hartikainen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Kultapossukerho's goal looked a bit too open when Mauno Hartikainen came free, but Elbert Hand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Elbert Hand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Huang Guo Feng, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Camillo Della Rocca who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Elbert Hand when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 30 minutes into the match, Kultapossukerho's goal looked a bit too open when Mauno Hartikainen came free, but Elbert Hand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Witomir Wieloch could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Elbert Hand made a huge save. Elbert Hand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camillo Della Rocca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 played minutes Kultapossukerho got a freekick which was hit by Niko Petriläinen. In the 38th minute Huang Guo Feng shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elbert Hand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mauno Hartikainen's late challenge caught a Kultapossukerho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mauno Hartikainen helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FC Jones getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Mauno Hartikainen hit a great ball. Isak Stenquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ari Hakanpää, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th match minute, FC Jones was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Bergren to maneuver through the defense. 48 minutes into the match, FC Jones's goal looked a bit too open when Nuutti Vauhkonen came free, but Isak Stenquist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuutti Vauhkonen made a kick off. Niko Petriläinen hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nuutti Vauhkonen in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isak Stenquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, FC Jones's Jyrki Pesonen got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Hernan Leizarraga hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Hernan Leizarraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elbert Hand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Huang Guo Feng's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Nuutti Vauhkonen hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After 77 played minutes Kultapossukerho got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Leizarraga. Hernan Leizarraga's late challenge caught a FC Jones's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hernan Leizarraga helped the player get up and apologised. After having played for 79 minutes, Martin Bergren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Jones's supporters crossed their fingers, but Martin Bergren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Kultapossukerho defense, Iwo Majusiak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elbert Hand. The Kultapossukerho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elbert Hand should have stopped the shot. 92 minutes into the game, Pauli Puhakainen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kultapossukerho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Jones the free kick. The supporters of FC Jones booed when Kultapossukerho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pauli Puhakainen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elbert Hand showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terho Litja, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The corner ended in Martin Bergren almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Kultapossukerho's Elbert Hand did a great save. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FC Jones had won after a very even match.
