In the 3rd match minute, Helsinki Raptors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tino Piekkanen to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the match, Helsinki Raptors's goal looked a bit too open when Şemsettin Özhan came free, but Ale Eloranta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Sakari Murto got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Malvin Elenes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Şemsettin Özhan in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ale Eloranta saved Helsinki Raptors from getting behind. When Şemsettin Özhan came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Vakkuri IFK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Şemsettin Özhan couldn't finish the play. 17 minutes into the game, Kauno Pihkala cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Helsinki Raptors's Ale Eloranta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şemsettin Özhan in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Vakkuri IFK's goal looked a bit too open when Antti Parkkali came free, but Malvin Elenes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Helsinki Raptors booed when Vakkuri IFK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauno Pihkala didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 33rd minute of the match, Sakari Murto got a very nice opportunity to score, but Malvin Elenes was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 34 minutes into the match, Helsinki Raptors's goal looked a bit too open when Antti Savijoki came free, but Ale Eloranta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Şemsettin Özhan made a kick off. Sakari Murto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Vakkuri IFK booed when Helsinki Raptors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reijo Harjanne didn't get a good kick on the ball. After taking down the ball on Vakkuri IFK's corner Şemsettin Özhan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ale Eloranta quite easily take care of the ball. In the 61st minute of the match, Sandu Comșa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ale Eloranta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 62 minutes into the match, Helsinki Raptors's goal looked a bit too open when Kauno Pihkala came free, but Ale Eloranta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Helsinki Raptors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kimi Pesonen to maneuver through the defense. 68 minutes into the game, Aki Trehkopf was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Reijo Harjanne hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Kauno Pihkala recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ale Eloranta. Kauno Pihkala showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. 81 minutes into the match, Helsinki Raptors's goal looked a bit too open when Sandu Comșa came free, but Ale Eloranta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, Sakari Murto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Malvin Elenes. Vakkuri IFK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sakari Murto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. After 87 minutes, Lasse Hahl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Helsinki Raptors and the Vakkuri IFK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Lasse Hahl kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Helsinki Raptors's Sakari Murto got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ale Eloranta came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Vakkuri IFK's Şemsettin Özhan. But to his dismay, Şemsettin Özhan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Vakkuri IFK played a much better game than Helsinki Raptors and deserved their victory. The Helsinki Raptors players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
