Antti Paajanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atro Kiviharju having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Uleåsalö's goalkeeper Atro Kiviharju had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antti Paajanen. Vastarinta's Risto Torkki got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vastarinta's Santeri Viitaluoma shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 48th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Atro Kiviharju but with some difficulty.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Anxelu Bermudez made a kick off. Antti Paajanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atro Kiviharju having to interfere. In the 59th minute Antti Paajanen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atro Kiviharju saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vastarinta's Sid Mayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cláudio Lopez in the 70th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cláudio Lopez got free with Sid Mayo in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Uleåsalö's Tatu Petsamo got a free kick in the 78th minute. With a little luck, Vastarinta's Sid Mayo got control of the ball when Atso Meltoranta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sid Mayo was a little too slow when Atso Meltoranta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 81st minute. The score was now 1-1. Through an outstanding action, after 86 minutes, Sid Mayo successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Cláudio Lopez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Sid Mayo made a huge save. Sid Mayo was out of position in the 87 minute of play, and Cláudio Lopez capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cláudio Lopez really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Uleåsalö walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
