Kari Nitti dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Mei Ting Ping kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Kari Nitti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Terciero in the 52nd minute of play. SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Ritokylä's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ilkka Huuhtanen took the corner. The corner led to SaarijärvenSomaliSpartans's Karri Blomberg getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Kari Nitti was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jo-Wilfried Zaaboub showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-2 in the 55 minute of play.
