Deyab Refaat might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yousry Fareed. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Deyab Refaat ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 15 minutes, Yassine Kamal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Power Corruption and Lies's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yassine Kamal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Yousry Fareed made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gamal Refaat in the 20th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Power Corruption and Lies's Badr Hatem got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Gamal Refaat took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yousry Fareed. Yousry Fareed dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 38th minute, Gamal Refaat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Yousry Fareed took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gamal Refaat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Yassine Kamal came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Power Corruption and Lies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yassine Kamal couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baher Mortada made a kick off. Gamal Refaat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Yousry Fareed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Abdel Wahab Shehab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Qasem Kamel kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Barhm's Yousry Fareed proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save Barhm from getting a goal against them. When Yassine Kamal came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Power Corruption and Lies fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yassine Kamal couldn't finish the play. Power Corruption and Lies played a much better game than Barhm and deserved their victory. The Barhm players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
