Spectators: 8050 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 50) Shaker Hamdy made the kick off and thus started the match. Mubarak Moataz kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 6 minutes, Mubarak Moataz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Idfa and the Zamalek SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 6th minute, Mubarak Moataz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Badr Hafez made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Ezz Khalil sent off a good shot on target. When Mohammed Nader came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Idfa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mohammed Nader couldn't finish the play. Zamalek SC's Alaa Yasser played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mohammed Nader in the 12th minute of play. Badr Hafez was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Tarek Burhan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 18 minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Ezz Khalil made a precise shot to the right of Badr Hafez. Idfa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Badr Hafez was a little too slow when Shaker Hamdy got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 3-0. Mohammed Nader fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alaa Yasser having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Ezz Khalil kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Badr Hafez. That made the score 4-0 in the 32 minute of play. Badr Hafez went to the wrong direction when Ezz Khalil was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Tarek Burhan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mostafa Amgad kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohammed Nader made a kick off. Badr Hafez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ezz Khalil went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Badr Hafez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezz Khalil, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. If Ezz Khalil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 63 minutes, Tarek Burhan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zamalek SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tarek Burhan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tarek Burhan in the 65th minute of play forced Idfa's goalkeeper Badr Hafez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Idfa booed when Zamalek SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamel Hakeem didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bahy Moataz kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Zamalek SC's zone, Mohammed Nader stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alaa Yasser came out of the goal and Mohammed Nader tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Badr Hafez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezz Khalil, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Shaker Hamdy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Badr Hafez having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Zamalek SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ezz Khalil to maneuver through the defense. Badr Hafez came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Zamalek SC's Tarek Burhan. But to his dismay, Tarek Burhan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Zamalek SC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Idfa had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
