Spectators: 8050 (Terracing: 6000, Seating: 2000, VIP seats: 50) The crowd rose to their feet as Zamalek SC's Shaker Hamdy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aaser Fahmy. That made the score 2-0 after 8 minutes of play. After 15 played minutes Zamalek SC got a freekick which was hit by Gameel Abdel Masoud. After recieving a nice pass, Qalaha's Rabie Samer tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice moves Ezz Khalil could shoot a difficult shot in the 19th minute, which Aaser Fahmy however easily saved by the left post. Alaa Yasser took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Galal Nizar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aaser Fahmy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shaker Hamdy in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shaker Hamdy in the 26th minute of play forced Qalaha's goalkeeper Aaser Fahmy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Zamalek SC's Tarek Burhan got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 29th minute, Ezz Khalil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aaser Fahmy was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Zamalek SC's Shaker Hamdy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Aaser Fahmy. That made the score 4-0 after 33 minutes of play. The attack was good, but when Galal Nizar in the 37th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Galal Nizar to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Zamalek SC's Zidan Kamouna got a free kick in the 51st minute. Alaa Yasser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Belal Ramzy, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Shaker Hamdy struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Aaser Fahmy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zamalek SC. Aaser Fahmy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ezz Khalil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fareed Amr's late challenge caught a Qalaha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fareed Amr helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th minute, Fareed Amr hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, Qalaha's Alaa Yasser threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Belal Ramzy, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Qalaha booed when Zamalek SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shaker Hamdy didn't get a good kick on the ball. Taimour Samy hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belal Ramzy in the 78th minute of play forced Zamalek SC's goalkeeper Alaa Yasser to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute Ezz Khalil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaser Fahmy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Galal Nizar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Belal Ramzy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alaa Yasser having to interfere. Zamalek SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
