Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Baher Mortada kicked off to start the match. With a little luck, Barhm's Yousry Fareed got control of the ball when Bahaa Nedal tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the match had gone on for 7 minutes, Bahaa Nedal took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Yousry Fareed to make any attempt to save it. In the 13th minute Sallam Nasir shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yousry Fareed saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Baher Mortada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nabil Samy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sallam Nasir in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yousry Fareed saved Barhm from getting behind. The supporters of Barhm booed when Subayh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bahaa Nedal didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Subayh's Yousry Fareed threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Sallam Nasir, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Yousry Fareed was out of position in the 41 minute of play, and Sallam Nasir capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sallam Nasir really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Sallam Nasir received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Yousry Fareed tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bahaa Nedal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 49th minute, Sallam Nasir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sallam Nasir stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Nayef Nagy fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Subayh's protests and gave Nayef Nagy a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 56th minute of the game. One of Subayh:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barhm:s goal. The goalkeeper, Nabil Samy, was totally fooled by Barhm's Abdel Wahab Shehab, who 58 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of Barhm booed when Subayh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sallam Nasir didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sallam Nasir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yousry Fareed having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bahaa Nedal in the 68th minute of play forced Barhm's goalkeeper Yousry Fareed to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barhm's Yousry Fareed played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bahaa Nedal in the 70th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bahaa Nedal in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yousry Fareed saved Barhm from getting behind. The nice shot from Hossam Fahmy in the 85thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Nabil Samy had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Bahaa Nedal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 95 minutes into the game, Anwar Fadel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Subayh's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barhm the free kick. If Hossam Fahmy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
