An unexpectedly hard shot by Leo Kalfhage in the 30th minute of play forced NormalTeam's goalkeeper Darweesh Ashraf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shaker Refaat's late challenge caught a Negm's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. But to his dismay, Leo Kalfhage quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. After the first half Negm were leading 0-7. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Leo Kalfhage sped through NormalTeam's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Darweesh Ashraf. 66 minutes into the game, Tadeu Hoffmann lined in a short shot 0-11 behind a frustrated Darweesh Ashraf. The audience was convinced that Leo Kalfhage's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Darweesh Ashraf was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. 傅森竞 might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Darweesh Ashraf.
