The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 7 minutes into the match, Korenduse's goalkeeper Kaljo Talts had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ülo Heinola. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, Ülo Heinola put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Kaljo Talts. Korenduse's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Juss Niinemets 15 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Asko Aguraiuja stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teet Vahing's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Ülo Heinola's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kaljo Talts read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Korenduse defense, Ülo Heinola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kaljo Talts. The Korenduse fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kaljo Talts should have stopped the shot. Asko Aguraiuja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taimo Järv in the 30th minute of play. After having played for 34 minutes, Taimo Järv managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Korenduse's supporters crossed their fingers, but Taimo Järv was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kaljo Talts made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Ülo Heinola sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 43 minutes, Ülo Heinola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FS Kuttejou's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ülo Heinola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Taimo Järv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Asko Aguraiuja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Juss Niinemets to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ülo Heinola made a precise shot to the right of Kaljo Talts. Korenduse's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juss Niinemets in the 56th minute of play forced Korenduse's goalkeeper Kaljo Talts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teet Vahing received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Asko Aguraiuja tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Teet Vahing got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ülo Heinola fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kaljo Talts having to interfere. A collision led to Korenduse getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Lennart Lüsi hit a great ball. Kaljo Talts stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juss Niinemets's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. In the 70thth minute of the game Juss Niinemets who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Korenduse's Kaljo Talts was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Korenduse's Dan Allikas got a free kick in the 70th minute. Kaljo Talts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juss Niinemets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teet Vahing could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Asko Aguraiuja made a huge save. Asko Aguraiuja made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taimo Järv in the 80th minute of play. Joel Reiman hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Asko Aguraiuja showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taimo Järv in the 82nd minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Korenduse's goal looked a bit too open when Kaur Kosemaa came free, but Kaljo Talts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Asko Aguraiuja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Taimo Järv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asko Aguraiuja showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taimo Järv, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. FS Kuttejou had won after a very even match.
