FC Santos Tartu's Üllar Kaar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rain Aas in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute, Hans Hallast fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Hans Hallast could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Üllar Kaar made a huge save. Hans Hallast sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. That made the score 1-0 in the 34 minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Võru Autobaas's goal looked a bit too open when Aimar Vahtra came free, but Kaarel Truupõld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, FC Santos Tartu's goal looked a bit too open when Oskar Ranna came free, but Üllar Kaar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In a very dangerous position, a player in FC Santos Tartu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 53rd minute. Penalty! Üllar Kaar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Einla, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Üllar Kaar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rain Aas in the 74th minute of play. Through an outstanding action, after 88 minutes, Kaarel Truupõld successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hans Hallast sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hans Hallast received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Üllar Kaar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik Einla struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Üllar Kaar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Võru Autobaas. Võru Autobaas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
