Urmo Umal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tom Ülem having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urmo Umal in the 5th minute of play forced Katsina's goalkeeper Tom Ülem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sulev Loik kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. In the 7th minute Eerik Lepisk shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tom Ülem saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Katsina's goal looked a bit too open when Urmo Umal came free, but Tom Ülem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eerik Lepisk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Urmo Umal in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tom Ülem saved Katsina from getting behind. Rainer Teras kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Eerik Lepisk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Tom Ülem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tom Ülem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urmo Umal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 31st match minute, Katsina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sulev Loik to maneuver through the defense. Urmo Umal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Tom Ülem tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uuearu SK's Imre Rahusoo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kaspar Gustavson in the 43rd minute of play. Kaljo Saamatu scored 1-1 in the 44th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Imre Rahusoo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Kris Hindpere had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Urmo Umal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, Kris Hindpere hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sulev Loik kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Kaspar Gustavson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Imre Rahusoo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kaljo Saamatu in the 67th minute of play forced Uuearu SK's goalkeeper Imre Rahusoo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Kaspar Gustavson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Katsina's supporters rose to their feet, but Kaspar Gustavson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Imre Rahusoo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sulev Valmas's late challenge caught a Uuearu SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sulev Valmas helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Katsina getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Sulev Valmas hit a great ball. 92 minutes into the game, Kaljo Saamatu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Imre Rahusoo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urmo Umal in the 97th minute of play forced Katsina's goalkeeper Tom Ülem to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Katsina's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
