With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ago Ernesaks in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kuido Erapart saved Southampton Rangers from getting behind. In the 8thth minute of the game Ago Ernesaks who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Southampton Rangers's Kuido Erapart was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 9th minute, Olev Mäe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kuido Erapart was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Kuido Erapart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olev Mäe, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Ago Ernesaks managed to get in a good position for a shot. oneoneone's supporters rose to their feet, but Ago Ernesaks was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kuido Erapart breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ago Ernesaks sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, oneoneone's Ennu Jänes got a free kick in the 24th minute. Volli Alasoo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ago Ernesaks hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Ivari Hälvik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivari Ohu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olev Mäe during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 30th minute, Olev Mäe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 31 played minutes, Southampton Rangers's Paavo Nõmmsalu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ivari Ohu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Kuido Erapart made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ago Ernesaks was the one to do the kick off. Joosep Lossimäe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivari Ohu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Southampton Rangers's zone, Volli Alasoo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kuido Erapart came out of the goal and Volli Alasoo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kuido Erapart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olev Mäe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ivari Hälvik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maido Niilo in the 67th minute of play forced Southampton Rangers's goalkeeper Kuido Erapart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ago Ernesaks in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kuido Erapart prevented the ball from getting in the gole. oneoneone were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Southampton Rangers's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joe Niit took the corner. Kuido Erapart stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ago Ernesaks's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. If Maido Niilo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Osvald Oad hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Kuido Erapart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joe Niit, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. In the 82nd match minute, Southampton Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kalev Alas to maneuver through the defense. Kuido Erapart didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Olev Mäe went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. 87 minutes into the match, Volli Alasoo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kuido Erapart. Southampton Rangers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Volli Alasoo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Maido Niilo scored 7-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kuido Erapart, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ivari Hälvik charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ivari Hälvik the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 95th minute, Ivari Hälvik hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 99 played minutes Southampton Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Joosep Lossimäe.
