RedBull Estonia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erkki Suurkaev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Riivo Vaima fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Avo Vulla having to interfere. Avo Vulla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kalev Rodin, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Erkki Suurkaev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martti Volmer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute, SK Naravere's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Erkki Suurkaev fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Keijo Tõruke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jass Niidu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jass Niidu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in RedBull Estonia's zone, Jass Niidu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Keijo Tõruke came out of the goal and Jass Niidu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 35th minute Jass Niidu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keijo Tõruke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jass Niidu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the game, SK Naravere's Jass Niidu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Keijo Tõruke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. SK Naravere's Jass Niidu got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Avo Vulla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kalev Rodin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The RedBull Estonia players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SK Naravere were winning 0-1.

In the 53rd minute, Erkki Suurkaev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of SK Naravere booed when RedBull Estonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kalev Rodin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olaf Voolaid charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olaf Voolaid the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 61 minutes into the game, one of SK Naravere:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 63rd minute there was a penalty for RedBull Estonia. Uku Lusik stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Avo Vulla. 1-1. Erkki Suurkaev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Avo Vulla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, RedBull Estonia's goal looked a bit too open when Jass Niidu came free, but Keijo Tõruke reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. RedBull Estonia's Keijo Tõruke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jass Niidu in the 87th minute of play. Keijo Tõruke made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Jass Niidu sent off a good shot on target. Erkki Suurkaev sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the SK Naravere players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
