Viru Veri's Kristjan Rõõm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Urmo Umal in the 20th minute of play. Kristjan Rõõm stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Urmo Umal's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Urmo Umal in the 28th minute of play forced Viru Veri's goalkeeper Kristjan Rõõm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Taavet Õigus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guido Alla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Imre Rahusoo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olavi Pärt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Imre Rahusoo when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Guido Alla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Taavet Õigus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Imre Rahusoo having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 73rd minute Guido Alla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Imre Rahusoo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eerik Lepisk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eerik Lepisk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Imre Rahusoo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guido Alla in the 86th minute of play. Urmo Umal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Kristjan Rõõm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uuearu SK's Eerik Lepisk got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match was over Uuearu SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Viru Veri throughout the match.
