Kristjan Rõõm didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Martsa. When Enar Arulepp fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Martsa's protests and gave Enar Arulepp a yellow card for diving instead. Viru Veri's Guido Alla got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 21 played minutes Martsa got a freekick which was hit by Enar Arulepp. During the 24th minute of the match Enar Arulepp completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Enar Arulepp a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Mark Urbalu was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Taavet Õigus capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Taavet Õigus really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Tauri Viigipuu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Martsa's Harri Raudsoo got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Viru Veri getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Taavet Õigus hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Viru Veri's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Volli Ilves was slow to take the kick. During this time Martsa's players had a chance to rest. Taavet Õigus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mark Urbalu having to interfere. Mark Urbalu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Guido Alla went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Viru Veri booed when Martsa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Volli Ilves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tauri Viigipuu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Kristjan Rõõm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Viru Veri's Kristjan Rõõm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harri Raudsoo in the 81st minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Martsa's Harri Raudsoo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kristjan Rõõm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Taavet Õigus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Mark Urbalu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
