Hannes Raamets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Albert Aruväli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Rain Õlg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Priipalu Konnad getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Lennart Varju hit a great ball. Ahti Elujõe kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Ago Isa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uno Niitsoo having to interfere. Bert Uluots sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the match, Priipalu Konnad's Bert Uluots sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Uno Niitsoo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some careless play in the Palo defense, Ago Isa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Uno Niitsoo. The Palo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Uno Niitsoo should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Palo's zone, Ago Isa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uno Niitsoo came out of the goal and Ago Isa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hannes Raamets was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Priipalu Konnad's goalkeeper Albert Aruväli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Bert Uluots had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Uluots in the 65th minute of play forced Palo's goalkeeper Uno Niitsoo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Kuno Hommuk was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Priipalu Konnad's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Palo the free kick. Kuno Hommuk kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Bert Uluots recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Uno Niitsoo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ago Isa in the 93rd minute of play. If Hannes Raamets had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Heldur Saidla charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Heldur Saidla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Palo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
